After graduating from MIT in the early 1990s with two electrical engineering degrees, Andy Bloch started Playing poker. His poker career has been quite impressively successful, especially after he became a full time professional in the mid 1990s.
When not dominating the No Limit table, Andy is also an extremely skilled blackjack card counter, though these days he focuses mainly on playing Poker. He was once a member of the now famous MIT Blackjack team, who made a fortune beating the casinos at Blackjack in the 1990s. When asked, Andy estimated he had earned “six figures” counting cards.
Andy also has a degree in law but has never been a practicing lawyer. When not betting on a poker hand, Bloch is a very successful stock market investor. He is currently banned from more then 360+ casinos worldwide for counting cards. He was featured on the FOX show, THE Casino. In the episode Andy made an attempt to play some blackjack but the cameras caught him and he was tossed. It is still unknown whether or not it was staged.
